Ms. Kadren Carey is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Lion's Rest Group of Companies, a Bahamian holding group with divisions in consultancy, luxury rentals, skincare and cosmetics, business services, and events. She started with a single conviction: that Bahamian clients deserve premium, disciplined service without leaving home.
Trained in business administration and project management with additional certifications across construction, procurement, and cosmetology, Ms. Carey blends a project manager's discipline with a founder's eye for detail. Her earlier career in the Bahamian construction and consulting sector, negotiating contracts, running vendor teams, and shepherding government-facing projects laid the foundation for Lion's Rest Consulting and the Group's BCA training programme.
She later launched Lion's Rest Skincare and the Lioness Signature cosmetics line to celebrate Bahamian beauty with clean formulations and thoughtful, accessible price points. Today she oversees a lean, cross-trained team that treats every client, whether contracting a home renovation, renting a signature vehicle, or ordering a body butter, with the same standard of care.

Kadren Carey is a business professional with a multidisciplinary educational background in business administration, human resources, legal studies, and project management. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, an Associate of Applied Science in Human Resources Management, a Diploma in Legal Studies, and a Certificate in International Project Management. Kadren is also a proud alumna of the Bahamas Technical and Vocational Institute and has remained actively involved in supporting alumni development, student engagement, and institutional advancement. Her education has provided her with a strong foundation in organizational leadership, strategic planning, employee relations, business operations, legal principles, and project coordination. She has applied this knowledge throughout her professional career in consulting, sales, administration, marketing, event management, business development, and executive project management. Committed to continuous professional development, Kadren combines her academic training with practical leadership experience to manage complex initiatives, develop strategic partnerships, support organizational growth, and deliver innovative solutions for businesses and community organizations.
