Women in construction: changing who holds the plans

Construction and procurement have never been easy rooms for women to walk into. Our founder, Ms. Kadren Carey, built a career in both, and now uses that platform to make the walk shorter for those who follow.

Lion's Rest Consultancy partners with training bodies and industry associations to place women into project management, quantity surveying, and procurement roles, and to keep them there through mentorship rather than one-off placements.

Ms. Carey speaks regularly on the topic at conferences, panels, and school career days.
